Baie St-Paul, March 17th, 2020
The Charlevoix train management team is well aware of the uncertainty surrounding the current situation regarding the spread of COVID-19, and follows its evolution from hour to hour. Measures to protect its personnel were already launched on Thursday, March 12, even before recommendations to that effect was done by the government and health authorities. Our intention is to follow to the letter the measures to contain the spread decided by the authorities, and even to go further if necessary. We hope for a positive and rapid resolution of the situation, but the safety of our customers, our employees and the general public is, and will remain, our number one priority..
Our operations begin on June 19. We are aware that the situation will evolve in the meantime and we therefore advocate patience at this time. For the time being, we retain all our booking cancellation and modification policies, but we want to guarantee that these policies will be adapted and relaxed as necessary based on reality, and at the right time. Whether you already have your tickets in hand or are about to acquire them, be assured of our total collaboration in accordance with the evolution of the current situation, and our commitment to make you live the Charlevoix Train experience safely and responsibly. If our policies were to be relaxed, we guarantee that their aim will be to offer our customers a range of reasonable options in order to take into consideration the evolution of the situation and the challenges for our customers, for our employees and meanwhile respecting the public health and safety.
